Niyayesh Mollaabbassi

Hi! My name is Niya, and I'm a third-year neuroscience student.

As the Academic Chair of MSMD, I am aiming to create a space where students feel supported in their academic journey and their path toward healthcare.

I’m really passionate about making learning more approachable and collaborative, whether that’s through sharing resources or just creating an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and learning from each other.

For me, it’s important to help students get as much exposure to pre-med opportunities as possible, so they can explore their interests and find what truly excites them.

Through this role, I hope to help members grow, feel more confident in their goals, and stay motivated as they work toward their future in medicine.

Hobbies: Playing the piano, painting, and playing badminton
